The team at Human Factors Europe

HFI's User Experience staff is a group of dedicated professionals with advanced degrees and significant field experience. Their degrees are in Human Factors, Psychology or Cognitive Science. This combination of education and experience has made them renowned in the industry for being scientifically informed, yet refreshingly pragmatic.

To maintain this ability, HFI carefully balances project assignments:

  • Staff members spend 60% or more of their time doing hands-on user-centred analysis and design, either from scratch or for enhancement of existing products or designs.
  • They spend about 20% of their time evaluating and formally testing interfaces and products designed by other people – both HFI designs or redesigns of others' application designs.
  • Their remaining 20% is spent training other professionals about user-centred design and usability testing.

This multi-disciplinary approach ensures that HFI's user-centred designs and recommendations are meaningful and current, resulting in design decisions that reflect up-to-date project and industry-specific input.
