Experience
|
Eighteen years experience in design and evaluation of man-machine
interfaces, including 11 years as a contractor in the Human Engineering
Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB. (Pilots are very demanding users!).
Taught the HFI GUI course more than 30 times to a variety of clients,
including Hewlett Packard, Wells Fargo Bank, Federal Express, Allergan,
USAA, and W.W. Grainger. Directed the development of the GUI Standard
for the Internal Revenue Service.

|
Teaching. (It's in the genes.)

Hobbies and Special Interests
|
Weaving and spinning. Member of the Handweavers Guild of Santa
Cruz and the Weaver's Guild of Miami Valley (Ohio). Singing, especially
madrigals and Mozart. Sailing (The West Coast office has a 21' sailboat).
Cooking. I love anything with goat cheese, or porcini mushrooms,
or roasted red peppers, or artichoke hearts, or.... Fortunately,
I'm married to an excellent cook.
