Experience

Eighteen years experience in design and evaluation of man-machine interfaces, including 11 years as a contractor in the Human Engineering Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB. (Pilots are very demanding users!). Taught the HFI GUI course more than 30 times to a variety of clients, including Hewlett Packard, Wells Fargo Bank, Federal Express, Allergan, USAA, and W.W. Grainger. Directed the development of the GUI Standard for the Internal Revenue Service.

Hobbies and Special Interests

Weaving and spinning. Member of the Handweavers Guild of Santa Cruz and the Weaver's Guild of Miami Valley (Ohio). Singing, especially madrigals and Mozart. Sailing (The West Coast office has a 21' sailboat). Cooking. I love anything with goat cheese, or porcini mushrooms, or roasted red peppers, or artichoke hearts, or.... Fortunately, I'm married to an excellent cook.
