How is HFI’s certification program perceived by the industry? HFI is recognized as the world’s leading full-service usability firm. Our instructors are up-to-date with the latest research, and have real-world experience in the field.
What is the difference between HFI’s certification programs and the CPE designation?

The CPE/CHFP program is aimed at full time usability engineering professionals. These people must have advanced degrees and at least four years of professional experience in the field. They are the certified physicians of the field.

HFI’s CUA program is aimed at designers and developers who want solid training for practical work in user-centered design. These are the certified paramedics of the field.

The CXA program is a reflection of the expansion of the User Experience (UX) field. This program expands and validates a person’s knowledge in key advanced concepts like persuasion engineering, strategy and innovation, and the institutionalization of a UX practice within an organization.

I live in a country where HFI does not offer the courses. Can I take the courses online? Not at present. However we are willing to present courses in any location if a company wishes us to teach onsite and covers travel expenses.
