Beeky the Researcher has developed a task flow and seems very happy with his work. Frank the Analyst measures the time taken to complete the task with this flow and calculates it to 3.2 minutes.

Beeky further improves on the task flow. Frank informs him that now the task takes only 2.9 minutes.

Beeky is quite satisfied with work… Until Eric shows up and further improves the task flow… Frank informs Beeky that now the task with Eric's improvement takes only 1.3 minutes. Beeky is shocked.

Gist: Whether you have broken the application down into modules, or are taking on the whole design as one whole; the business requirements have to be translated into actual screen designs.
