Usability Test

Eric, announcing the results of a Usability Test to Beeky the Researcher and Big Bucks the Manager, says, "Lack of self evidency due to convoluted navigation scheme." Big Bucks the Manager does not seem to be worried. Beeky the Researcher is thinking, "Real bad!"

Eric continues, "Detail design adds to the confusion." Big Bucks the Manager is starting to show signs of worry. Beeky the Researcher is thinking, "Real, real bad!"

Eric points to a video recording of customer feedback and says, "Watch your customers." An annoyed customer says, "Would have been easier to crawl into the store." Big Bucks the Manager is visibly shaken.

Gist: A Usability Test of the application with actual users will help identify key problem areas and can be used to convince management about the magnitude of usability problems.
